Lions Club of Chichester’s 255th Annual Model Railway Exhibition will be held at Chichester High School PO19 8AE on Saturday 26 October 2019 between10.00am and 4.30pm.  Yes, it’s our SILVER ANNIVERSARY and we would like as many as possible to come along and celebrate with us.

 

14 attractive railway layouts in various scales have confirmed they will be attending, and on four of these the public, including children, may drive the trains.

 

3 steam-engine related MECCANO models will also be on show, as will Chichester Model Engineers’ static 3.5″ and 5″ gauge models,

 

5 trade stands will offer everything you need for your own model railway;

Other exhibits will include:;

A specialist Toy Auctioneer who will value any unwanted toys you may have, and sell them for you if you wish;

Games with prizes for children and adults;

Southdowns Light Railway information stand.

 

All-Day refreshments will be available from The Junction Café

 

Also expected, though not yet confirmed, will be two more layouts, an outside ride-on railway for adults and children; and railway-related book sales.

 

There is free car parking, and good access for disabled people,

 

Admission: Adults £5; Under 15s £2; Family [2+2] £12.
