Environment Group

Earnley Parish Council have formed an Environment Group.  The volunteers in the group will work to make environmental improvements to the parish including but not limited to the following:-

• Bus shelter, village gateways, finger posts and noticeboard cleaning
• Identifying land for meadows, trees (including community orchard) and hedgerow planting
• Map footpath issues in particular focusing on:
  • Footpath 52 (Almodington Lane – Bookers Lane)
  • Footpath 59 (Almodington Lane to Somerely Lane)
  • Footpath 56 (Almodington Lane to Mapson’s Lane)
• Map the areas for maintenance of sight lines
• litter picking
